2024 Regional Plan Update

Notice of Public Hearing

The Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 beginning at 6:30 pm at the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce (Lower Level), 33 Stewart Road, Berlin, Vermont 05602.

The purpose of this hearing is to consider public comments on the CVRPC Regional Plan Assessment Report for re-adoption of the 2016 Central Vermont Regional Plan. This is the first of two required public hearings as required under 24 VSA Section §4348.

Copies of the Report and Plan can be reviewed at the offices of Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission, 29 Main Street, Suite 4, Montpelier, during normal business hours or on-line at https://centralvtplanning.org/programs/regional-planning/regional-plan/

Town of Roxbury – RFP for Village Center Revitalization Plan Project

The Town of Roxbury seeks a consultant for a Community Design and Engagement Planning Process for the Roxbury Village Center Revitalization Plan Project.  This Plan would advance the achievement of the vision in their Town Plan through implementation of specific actions while retaining the character of their historic village.  Proposals are due May 2nd.  Full details here >>


Town of Marshfield – Emergency Watershed Program RFP

CVRPC, Project Partner for the Town of Marshfield, invite qualified firms to submit a Scope of Work and Cost Proposal to complete final designs and provide bid and construction oversight for ten pre-approved watershed protection projects.  Proposals are due May 17, 2024 at 4:00 PM.

Seeking Planning Technicians

We’re looking for two seasonal planning technicians ($18/HR) to assist us primarily with field work data collection. These positions will play an active role in our transportation field work program. Opportunity to work on and support regional, local energy, natural resource, and local hazard mitigation plans as they present themselves.
